Stone Setting Class - Learn to Bezel Set (Sat, Nov 2nd & Sun, Nov 3rd from 10am-1pm)
Join ARO for a series of jewelry making classes with master jewelers and designers.
Learn the basics of stone setting, we'll teach you how to bezel set a stone and make a pendant or ring. We'll have a stone selection but if you have your own stone, bring it with you! Just let us know so we can make sure it's good for this course.
What is bezel setting?
A bezel setting is a popular way to mount gemstones on rings and other jewelry. Whereas a prong setting uses small pins to hold the stone in place, a bezel setting encircles all or part of the gemstone with a strip of metal.
This class is on Saturday, November 2nd & November 3rd from 10 am - 1 pm. Each class will vary but this class will run three hours, all metals/tools will be provided and mimosas will be served. In this class, you have the option of making a bracelet or a necklace for an extra fee.
