Intro to Wax Carving - Design a Dome Ring (11/22 from 6-9pm)
Join ARO for a series of jewelry making classes with master jewelers and designers.
In the basics of wax carving, you'll create your own wax model that will be later cast into a silver dome ring. When it's ready will notify you and you can pick it up in-store!
What does it mean to cast? Jewelry casting is the process by which a wax pattern or design is made into a jewelry mold and then filled with molten metal or silver to create a custom piece of jewelry. Many of the designers we work with at ARO use this method to create their jewelry.
This class is on Friday, November 22nd from 6-9 pm. Each class will vary but this class will run two hours, all metals/tools will be provided and mimosas will be served.
Our first class is being taught by Martha Soto, a master jeweler, and teacher.
Only 8 seats are available! Please select local- pick up at checkout.
